LIFFL 2025 SPRING SEASON REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Our 2025 SPRING ADULT LEAGUE SEASON kicks off on Sunday, March 16th & 23rd (your choice) on fields throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties! (Start dates later than 3/16 require double headers). Our Spring Sunday Adult league will be offering a guaranteed 9 game season, 8 regular season games and EVERYONE makes the playoffs (1 game guaranteed)! Sunday 8-Man (Open hand blocking) divisions are available in B/C/D division levels based on ability.  Sunday 5-Man (No blocking) divisions are available in A/B/C divisions based on ability (A & B are pop flags). We are also offering a 5-man division for new teams with little to no experience (D- Div)!

Our Weeknight SPRING league will be offering a guaranteed 6 game season, 5 regular season games and EVERYONE makes the playoffs! Games are Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in Farmingdale and Massapequa. 5-Man(No blocking) divisions are available in A and B/C based on ability.

PRICES- -Fall Sunday League: 8-Man $975 / 5-Man $675
Ref Fees(Weekly at field): 8-Man: $70 / 5-Man: $50
Awards: LI CUP, Championship T-Shirts, Individual Awards, Awards Dinner*
5-Man no experience- $675 team fee. Awards are individual trophies at the field. The dinner is only for A,B, & C.

NOTES-

  • NEW TEAMS- $50 Deposit required to be put on the schedule
  • NEW RULES-1) WEEKNIGHT 5-MAN & Sunday 5-Man B- When playing with a 2 second delayed rush, the defense will have ONE BLITZ (no count) every set of downs.  After registration for the Sunday league is complete, teams will vote to decide if they want to switch to POP FLAGS.
  • We are going back to, “if the ball touches the ground, it is dead”. Bad snaps will no longer be live.
  • Teams that choose a start date later than March 9th (or the week of) will have to do a double header one week to catch up. Weeknight teams that start later than the week of the 16th, will have to play on multiple nights in one week to catch up.
  • If team fees are not paid before the season, HALF is owed at your 1st game. The 2nd half must be paid before the 3rd game, either in cash at the field or on the PayPal link on the website (add 4 percent for PayPal Fees). We use a 1st come/ 1st serve system, so teams that pay in full before the season will be given priority when it comes to time and field requests that we are able to accommodate.

LIFFL ANNUAL SUPER BOWL SUNDAY (Feb 9th), 5-MAN TOURNAMENT

 

The LIFFL will once again be holding our Annual NFL Super Bowl Sunday 5-Man Event on February 9th. The games will begin at 8:00 AM, and we have enough field space to ensure that everyone has a safe Sunday and also makes it home with plenty of time to get ready for the big game!

LOCATION: CEDAR CREEK PARK/SEAFORD TURF FIELDS
STYLE OF PLAY- 5-ON-5 NO-CONTACT
5 DIVISIONS/TEAM FEES:
5-Man “A” Division $350 ($1000 prize)
5-Man “B” Division $275 ($600 prize)
5-Man “C” (REC) Division(2 miss. delay blitz) $250 (Trophies)
AMATEUR(Limited 5-man experience. Ex: C teams with bad records from previous seasons or D & E teams.) 3 miss delay Blitz- $250 (Trophies)   (on reg form, write “Couch Potato” in the comment box.
BIG MAN (linemen) Division- (3 miss delay Blitz) $250 (Trophies)   (on reg form, write “Big Man” in the comment box.)- 225lb minimum weight. Players will weigh in at the field. Each team can have ONE player under the weight requirement, but they cannot play QB (or throw the ball) or be Rusher on any play.

In the 8-Man B Division, Hoof Hearted beat the Ducks 27-13 in the Championship to officially become an LIFFL Dynasty with their 4th Championship in a row.

In the 8-Man C Division, NWO capped off their impressive undefeated season by beating the Narps in the Championship 33-14!

The Fall 2024 8-Man D Division was as tough as it has ever been and in the Final between the LI Warriors and Average Joe’s, the LI Warriors won the championship game 14-6!

The DILFS defeated How Dem Anklez 27-20 in the 5-man A Division to capture their 2nd straight Fall Championship!

In the revamped 5-Man B Division, The Other Guys fought off a last minute comeback by the Shivas to win the Championship 20-19!

In the Weeknight 5-Man League, the NARPS added another trophy to the mantle by defeating their rival, The Degenerates 29-20 in the Championship!

In the Weeknight B Final, Primetime was able to fight off Sofa Street to win the B Division Championship!

All other teams just need to leave a $50 deposit on the website, and can pay the rest at the field.

FORMAT: Quad Fields.  1st Round: Everyone plays 2 games, those who don’t lose 2 move on
to Round 2 which becomes Single Elimination

SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS


WEEKNIGHT -In the “A” Division TRASH took home another trophy by defeating their nemesis Degenerates in the Championship game. In the “B” Division, 1st and Shlong defeated The Ville to win their first LIFFL Championship!

 

SUNDAYS– Crush battled through the gauntlet of 8-man teams and in the end, defeated 4 time champion Space Force Commandos to capture the 8-man Championship. In 5-man, Black Haus added to their Trophy room by defeating How Dem Anklez for the 5-Man D1 Championship. In the B division, Us Never Them won an OT thriller vs the Gators to win their 1st ever LIFFL 5-man D2 Championship!

SOE (Suffolk) won their 2nd 8-man D Championship by defeating Spartans OG 13-12

 

Black Haus defeated DILFS in a comeback thriller 30-27 to win the 5-Man A Championship

 

Bogarts defeated Sofa King 25-19  in a battle of champions to capture the 5-Man B Championship

 

The Beefs knocked off multiple time champion ZFU Express 13-6 to win the 5-Man C Championship
