Turf & Grass Fields in Nassau & Suffolk SUNDAY MORNINGS (9am-12pm)
Start Date:  November 30th or December 7th (Your choice, double headers required for later start dates)
Divisions–  5-Man (Pop-Flags)

Team Fee: 5-Man: $575

Ref Fees(Weekly at field): 5-Man: $50

Season: 5-game season followed by a playoff tournament that everyone plays in (6 games guaranteed).
Awards: Individual Awards at the field on the day of Playoff Tournament.

Our 2025 FALL ADULT LEAGUE SEASON kicks off on Sunday, September 7th and 14th (your choice) on fields throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties! (Start dates later than 9/7 require double headers). Our Fall Sunday Adult league will be offering a guaranteed 9 game season, 8 regular season games and EVERYONE makes the playoffs (1 game guaranteed)! Sunday 8-Man (Open hand blocking) divisions are available in B/C/D division levels based on ability.  Sunday 5-Man (No blocking) divisions are available in A/B/C divisions based on ability (A & B are pop flags). We are also offering a 5-man division for new teams with little to no experience ( 4 Downs- D- Div)!

Our Weeknight Fall league will be offering a guaranteed 6 game season, 5 regular season games and EVERYONE makes the playoffs! Games are Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in Farmingdale and Massapequa. 5-Man(No blocking) divisions are available in A and B/C based on ability.

NOTES-

  • NEW TEAMS- $50 Deposit required to be put on the schedule
  • NEW RULES-1) WEEKNIGHT 5-MAN & Sunday 5-Man B- When playing with a 2 second delayed rush, the defense will have ONE BLITZ (no count) every set of downs.  After registration for the Sunday league is complete, teams will vote to decide if they want to switch to POP FLAGS.
  • We are going back to, “if the ball touches the ground, it is dead”. Bad snaps will no longer be live.
  • Teams that choose a start date later than Sept 7th (or the week of) will have to do a double header one week to catch up. Weeknight teams that start later than the week of the 16th, will have to play on multiple nights in one week to catch up.
  • If team fees are not paid before the season, HALF is owed at your 1st game. The 2nd half must be paid before the 3rd game, either in cash at the field or on the PayPal link on the website (add 4 percent for PayPal Fees). We use a 1st come/ 1st serve system, so teams that pay in full before the season will be given priority when it comes to time and field requests that we are able to accommodate.

LIFFL SUMMER 2025 REGISTRATION- Sunday 8-man & 5-Man, Weeknight 5-Man, Co-Ed & Women’s Divisions Availible

Our 41st  SUMMER SEASON will kick off on Sunday, June 29th and 7/6 (Your Choice, later Start dates require double headers) on fields throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties!

 


Our Sunday league 7/6 (Your choice, later date requires a double header) will be starting 6/29 & will be offering  5 regular season games followed by a (1 game guarantee) Tournament that everyone participates in. Sunday 8-Man divisions are available in C/D division levels based on ability.  Sunday 5-Man divisions are available in A/B & C divisions based on ability.

 

The Weeknight League will be starting on the weeks of 6/24 & 6/30 and feature a 5 game regular season + 1 guaranteed playoff game.  Only 5-Man divisions will be available. Games are played Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday in Massapequa and Farmingdale.

 

The COED & Women’s Weeknight Leagues will be starting on June 26th. Games are 9 & 10PM in Massapequa. The season will feature feature a 6 game season, 5 regular season games followed by playoffs that everyone participates in (one division). If you need players, please let us know and we will send out information about our free agents. The Co-Ed rules are the LIFFL 5-Man rules but with a very strict NO-CONTACT policy (No wrapping up to grab the flag or making contact on a reception attempt). Each team must have 2 females on the field at all times.

LIFFL ANNUAL SUPER BOWL SUNDAY (Feb 9th), 5-MAN TOURNAMENT

 

The LIFFL will once again be holding our Annual NFL Super Bowl Sunday 5-Man Event on February 9th. The games will begin at 8:00 AM, and we have enough field space to ensure that everyone has a safe Sunday and also makes it home with plenty of time to get ready for the big game!

STYLE OF PLAY- 5-ON-5 NO-CONTACT
5 DIVISIONS/TEAM FEES:

5-Man “C” (REC) Division(2 miss. delay blitz) $250 (Trophies)
AMATEUR(Limited 5-man experience. Ex: C teams with bad records from previous seasons or D & E teams.) 3 miss delay Blitz- $250 (Trophies)   (on reg form, write “Couch Potato” in the comment box.
BIG MAN (linemen) Division- (3 miss delay Blitz) $250 (Trophies)   (on reg form, write “Big Man” in the comment box.)- 225lb minimum weight. Players will weigh in at the field. Each team can have ONE player under the weight requirement, but they cannot play QB (or throw the ball) or be Rusher on any play.
